I am sat here trying to think of something wonderful to recommend for summer reading. The only book that keeps coming back into my mind though is this one.

The book is based in Cornwall and tells the tale of Polly who is recovering from a bad relationship. Polly decides to rent a flat far away from everything familiar to her and immerses herself in her baking hobby. Along the way she adopts a Puffin, falls in love twice and eventually starts a bakery.

It is a nice feelgood, easy read kind of book, in which you can lose yourself in while on the beach.

There is sequel – Summer at the Beach Street Bakery but personally I preferred the first one.
